Finally, you can be a guest at your own party! Imagine inviting your friends, family, clients or business associates to an elegant dinner party in your home...and you never once worried about how you would do the grocery shopping, the cooking or the cleanup because you've got your own Personal Chef in the house! Just let Chef for the Night create the perfect menu for your theme and prepare the entire meal fresh in your home kitchen.
Then, imagine how impressive it will be as your Personal Chef serves five scrumptious courses to each of your guests as you get to sit at the table enjoying the same dinner and conversing with your guests. Then, as you are having dessert, savoring your last sips of coffee and maybe a cordial, your chef has cleaned up your kitchen!
My philosophy is simple: To give your guests skillfully prepared, unusually delicious foods, with the very best quality and presentation I can bring to the table. And, because every party is different, I offer a variety of home entertaining choices:
| Party Options: |
Anniversary Dinner for Two
Choose your dinner menu from my French, Mexican, American or Italian menus; I will help you design
the perfect menu for your anniversary celebration. I grocery shop, prepare all the food
and serve your special dinner using your china, flatware and crystal. Anniversary dinners
are typically 6 courses which includes an appetizer, a soup, salad or pasta course, the entree,
a sidedish and dessert and coffee. The sixth course is the Chef's special surprise, an
'amuse bouche'; a small hot or cold hors d'ouevres to go with cocktails or champagne. The
anniversary dinner makes an adorable gift for grand-parents, parents or any couple celebrating a
significant milestone in their marriage. Newlyweds or couples celebrating the birth of a
new baby would also very much appreciate this gift.

Sit-down Dinners
For four to twelve guests, I can provide sit-down service with individually plated courses and a choice of Italian,
Mexican, American-grill, or French cuisines. Dinners include an appetizer, a soup, salad or pasta course,
one entree, a sidedish and dessert & coffee. A wait person is required for parties of 8 or more and of
course, the menu and number of courses can be customized to your liking. I shop for the finest ingredients,
bring everything to your door and then begin the day's cooking in your kitchen. Dinners are served on your
dishes and tableware which Chef for the Night washes and stacks as the evening progresses; then, I clean up
your kitchen at the end of the night. Entertaining couldn't be more stress-free!

Buffet Parties
Need to entertain a bigger crowd? Chef for the Night can provide a buffet service for 15 to 75
guests with wait staff and sous chefs as required. Choose from Mexican, Italian, American-grill, or
Chinese/Polynesian cuisines. Working around your schedule, your personal chef will prep all the buffet
foods in your kitchen over the course of several days. Then on the day of the event, the chef finishes
cooking and assembles the buffet with the wait staff. The chef and staff keep the buffet replenished
until you're ready for dessert and coffee. Then we pack up the buffet and clean up so you get to enjoy
the entire party with your guests. You'll hardly need to lift a finger...except to eat, of course!

Special Diets
Don't worry if you or any of your guests are on restricted diets or have food allergies, because my party menus are always
designed to keep everyone happy and well-fed! I can alter most recipes to be kid-friendly, low-fat, fat-free,
vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, lactose or dairy-free, sugar-free, or low-carb. Just tell me what kinds of
choices you need to provide, and I'll show you some very tasty alternatives. If needed, I can label the buffet
dishes so your guests are sure they are helping themselves to the right kinds of foods.

Full Service Buffet
In addition to the food and dessert, my buffet packages typically include: ice, bottled water, soft drinks, all
serveware, disposable dishes, plastic cutlery, drink cups, napkins, leftover containers and coffee service.
You may certainly add or subtract from this list; sometimes the host and hostess have a favorite bakery provide
dessert or perhaps they own a coffee urn and wish to serve their own coffee. No problem, my party service
runs the gamut from sub-contracting the rental services, flower arrangements or cleanup crew to just hiring me to come
in and provide a few signature dishes for the party. Whatever you require, Chef for the Night is here
to provide just the right level of service for you!

| How it works: |
At least 2 weeks before the event, begin these four easy steps:
Menu Planning --- After collecting your party particulars, I will offer you three menu proposals with estimated per person pricing. You will choose the perfect menu for your theme and I will present an estimated invoice for your approval after we've agreed on the guest count, the date, time and duration of your event. Reserve the date by depositing 50% of the estimated invoice with your chef. When the actual guest count is finalized and any menu changes or additions are done, the final invoice will be presented; the balance of which is due on the day of the event. |
|
Shopping --- I shop for all the ingredients and supplies to make the menu you have chosen. I bring
all the items to your kitchen on the party day to start the preparations. For larger parties, I may do the
shopping and prepping in stages over several days at our mutual convenience. I'll need a little freezer
and refrigerator room to store those items until the day of your event, during which I will arrive early enough to
complete the final cooking stages and assemble your buffet as my waitstaff arrives.
|
|
|
Cooking --- I bring my knives, cutting boards, towels, and any specialized equipment I need, but I will be
using some of your pots and pans as well to prepare the dinner or buffet items. On party day, your kitchen
must be free of traffic going in and out and be tidy and clean. I will need the use of your refrigerator,
sinks, stove, oven, freezer, dishwasher and possibly gas or charcoal grills.
|
|
|
Cleanup --- When your party is finished, your chef cleans up your kitchen, dishes and pots and pans.
I also bring containers and pack any leftovers and refrigerate or freeze them. You may wish to even order
some extra party foods so you will have meals for the week when the party is over. For very large parties,
if you'd like help packing up rental tables, chairs or tents, cleaning up the yard or your house after the guests have
gone, please allow me to refer you to my cleaning specialists.
